Anna Olson BakeOff–Better Luck Next Time
A couple of weeks ago, I entered Food Network Canada and Anna Olson’s Bake Off contest. Sadly, I did not win. Nor did I place. The winner was a 13 year old entrepreneur who seem to have made her cake and shared it with the Canadian Women’s Olympic Rowing Team. The second place winner managed to get all four generations of the women in her family to participate in making the cake and get a picture of it.
Truly, I had no hope. Who can compete against that?
At any rate, I think next time I will stick more closely to the recipe (and therefore ignore the instruction to ‘make it my own’). There are both Bake Off and Cook Off challenges each month, so I will have some options next time.
